WHICH RACKS TO USE?

Micromobility Hub can have built-in racks such as Offset Vertical Racks and Double Dockers or can house surface-mount racks of any variation. Varsities, Guardians, MBAs, and even inverted-U’s can be installed in a silo. For extra security, bike lockers and scooter cubes can also be installed inside Micromobility Hub.

TURNKEY DESIGN?

Micromobility Hub can include an electrical-box, interior and exterior lighting, security cameras, and a key-card reader. Its design accommodates solar panels, a battery bank to store power, and charging shelves with outlets for e-bikes and scooters. All of these features can easily be added to the structure and the system of adapter plates and discrete lock-on points is designed with that in mind.

Though shelters do provide weather protection, they are not classified as Class 1 bike parking as they are not fully enclosed. Bearing this in mind, shelters can cover any micromobility device you see fit for short periods of time such as bicycles and scooters.

WHAT RACKS TO USE?

Most commonly used racks under shelters are traditional surface-mount racks such as the Guardian or the Varsity Bike Dock. However, it has become more popular as the need for space has increased, to use more condensed options such as the Offset Vertical Bike Docks on stantions such as the Center Stage or Side Stage. The two-tier, lift-assist Double Docker also withstands weather elements and is able to be installed beneath a shelter.

MORE VALUE?

Offering covered bike or scooter parking to customers and students is an appreciated practice that will go a long way for your school or business. Avoiding rusted bikes and wet seats, users will often frequent storefronts and parking areas that offer the covered parking for their bike or scooter.
